A holder of numerous specialist orthodontic qualifications as well as a Masters in Business Administration (distinction), Dr Ilori focuses on treating the whole patient, not just the ‘teeth’. His interest in medical aesthetics and post-graduate experience in maxillofacial surgery brings an understanding of facial development to bear on each case he undertakes.

By bringing the breadth of his experience to the consultation process he helps patients understand the impact of changes which result from orthodontic treatment on their profiles, facial balance, function and overall well being. WHY DID YOU BECOME AN ORTHODONTIST?

While training as a dentist I became fascinated by the bio-mechanical and sociological aspects of orthodontics – this led to me enrolling on the specialist programme. I have never looked back since!

WHAT FASCINATES YOU ABOUT YOUR WORK?

Orthodontics gives me daily opportunities to watch people’s smiles and faces transform before my eyes. It is a gratifying feeling to be part of a process which adds value to the lives of my child and adult patients.
